Dreaming of Paris

Today is a gloomy day in Dallas. I really wanted to have lunch on a patio somewhere, but it looks like it is going to rain any second. Instead, I am sitting at my desk at work thumbing through my Paris shopping guide and dreaming I was there right now. I imagine I would be taking in a picnic on the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower, followed by a bike ride down the Champs-Élysées. I have big plans to splurge on a Louis Vuitton, but shhh… don’t tell Dave.

The good news? This dream is about to come true. We are this|close to booking our airline tickets and making hotel arrangements!
Update: Airfare even went down this week, and I have come to a decision about the hotel too! Getting super excited!
