I was really looking forward to trying FRESCHETTA� By the Slice,especially after seeing how yummy it looked on the box cover. One piece of pizza is really plenty for me, and I already know I like full size Freschetta pies. These can also be microwaved for a quick meal or snack, so I thought for sure it was going to be a win for sure.

Unfortunately when I opened the package (I got the Vegetable Medley variety), there were hardly any veggies. I kid you not when I say that besides the cheese there were two peppers and one olive. That's it. I have photographic evidence. The slice on the box looked a lot better from a toppings perspective. Maybe my slice's lack of toppings was just a rare occurrence, so I might be willing to give it another try.

You can also heat it up in the oven, but I opted for the quick version to see how it would turn out. It was decent for a plain microwave cheese slice, but the crust was soggy. If I were to try it again I would probably go ahead and stick it in the oven for better results, but that kind of cancels out the convenience factor of this product.

Our grocery store only had this flavor and Six Cheese Medley, but it also comes in BBQ Recipe Chicken and Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom which both sound delicious. Would you like to give them a shot?
