Get ready to say Fa La La with these #clevercards
By Laurie | October 26, 2010
You may not think so, but one of the most fun parts of the Christmas season for me is selecting the perfect holiday cards. I comb through thousands of designs in search of the perfect one that captures my vision of the season. Growing up we lined our fireplace with cards sent by our family and friends, and we still do. I assume all of you do too, so of course I want to help make your display as pretty and festive as possible.
This year my decoration theme at home is snowflakes and black and white. I also like to coordinate my cards with each year’s theme. I’ve become partial to holiday photo cards in the last few years too, so here are my three contenders (all from Shutterfly’s HUGE selection):

I love damask, and this interpretation done with snowflakes is so totally me!

I like the 5×5 size with a scrolling snowflake design, and the pop of red is pretty.

I also like this more traditional snowflake design, just imagine Dave, Brownie and I instead.
I know it’s only October, but that is two months (minus one day) until Christmas! As you can see, I have a big decision to make. What do you think of my choices? Do you have your own unique method of selecting your Christmas cards? How soon do you begin thinking about your theme and placing your order? Do you want 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly? Click here to go to Shutterfly for information on how you can get 50 free cards this holiday season, and make sure to select Clever 1000 as the referral source.
Disclosure: This post is part of a series sponsored by Shutterfly. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I was not monetarily compensated, however I will receive complementary products from the sponsor.

What pretty cards! I have to be honest, I never have a “theme” with my cards, but what a good idea that is. It makes me think…
