Blonde or Brunette?

At the end of last month my highlights were out.of.control. I was over a month past due to head back to the salon and had just kept making excuses and was avoiding making the appointment. Our anniversary and our trip to Orlando is what finally got me into that chair.
I don’t know why something that some would think is luxurious and pampering (I do love the smell of freshly chemically treated hair though) seems like a chore to me. I’ve completely lost my patience. That is the sole reason I stopped getting my nails done too. I do go for manicures and pedicures, but I have been fake nail free for almost two years. I hated sitting there for over an hour while the tech drilled away.
Back to the topic at hand, my hair. My last day as a blonde with bad highlights was September 25, our anniversary. I went in the next day and told my regular colorist to fix the uneven highlights and take me back to my natural color and please oh please don’t use anything that is going to give me red or golden tones. I said I’d be back in a week or two to add a new set of highlights. So what does she do? She takes me about two shades darker than my natural color, and it’s red to boot.
Now, I am at the point that I want to do something else with it. Problem is, Dave likes it like this. I am itching to go lighter. What do you think?

Posted by: shammyDefinitely BLONDE!!!I think the brunette takes away from your overall appearance. Blonde just seems to lighten your face, brighten your eyes, overall makes you look younger, not that you are old.
