Wordless Wednesday – Oprah at the State Fair

Yes, THE Oprah! Can you believe she was actually at the State Fair of Texas on the same day as me? Can you believe that I actually got this close to my idol? David is somewhere scoffing at me, I’m sure. She bought this Stetson hat at the fair as we (and a crowd) looked on. I think it may be part of the segment for her show when it airs. I don’t think they filmed any of the bystanders, so don’t bother looking for me, I won’t be on TV. Trust me, I’m okay with that!

Posted by: Jean M.Jean- I actually felt really bad for her, and a little guilty to be crowding her space. It must not be fun to never be able to go anywhere without a ton of screaming people taking pictures of you. On the other hand, it was really exciting to see her in real life. It would have been fun to say hello and get a picture with her, but alas…
