Oprah is coming back to Texas!

I’m sure y’all know that I am an Oprah fanatic. I have loved her for as long as I can remember. You may have seen my shrine on MySpace. You may have even heard me express in my single days that I would pick up and move to Chicago if she were to offer me a job or internship (fat chance). I am sure there are millions of others with the same darn dream.
Do you know people with bucket lists? I don’t really have an official one, however there are a few things that I want to do in my lifetime. Paris is up there. Kid/s is an obvious one. Writing for a well-know magazine or newspaper would be on there. I’ve also always wanted to see Oprah live. If I can’t have a job, or shake her hand, I’d happily sit in the audience just to say I got to experience it. I don’t even care if it’s not one of the days where she gives out a crap load of gifts. I would leave with nothing but a smile, and like it. I would probably even cry, and no, I’m not kidding. |
Guess what? On October 12th she’s coming to Dallas. Not just anywhere, but to the State Fair of Texas. Oprah at the State Fair of Texas is a dream. If you have been reading my blog recently, you know how much I love love love the fair and now you know (if you didn’t already) that I love love love Oprah. Combining two of my loves is just too much. They haven’t released how you get tickets, but if everyone could cross their fingers and toes for me that would be fantastic.
Do you understand that I have to go?! Do you know that I would shit myself be super excited? Just sayin’.
