How Do You Protect Yourself?

This is our doormat. Brownie may not be big, but he would definitely put up a fight if someone tried to break in or rob our house. We wouldn’t leave the safety of our home and family upon his tiny shoulders alone though, and that is why we have a home security system too.
I am lucky that I have never experienced having my home broken into, but I can only imagine how horrifying it can be– especially if you are at home when it happens.
