Pillsbury Bake-Off

I’m totally not Betty Crocker, Martha Stewart or even the Pillsbury Doughboy when it comes to baking prowess. Still, I have been known to rock out some yummy cookies, brownies and cupcakes.
Do you think you have what it takes to impress the judges in the 44th Annual Pillsbury Bake-Off? Would a Million Dollar prize inspire you to dust off those baking pans? If so, you could be one of 100 finalists flown in to the finals, April 11 – 13, 2010, at the Waldorf-Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek hotel in Florida.
Pillsbury is looking for original recipes that taste and look delicious, are easy to prepare and that families across America will love to eat. There are four recipe categories – Breakfast & Brunches, Entertaining Appetizers, Dinner Made Easy and Sweet Treats.
Entries are being accepted until April 20 at http://bakeoff.com. You can also find out more information about the contest, past winners, and the prizes. Check out the video from last year’s winner. Isn’t she cute? The recipe she used wasn’t complicated or wildly out there either. This definitely seems very attainable if you have a little creativity and enjoy baking.

Posted by: TinaHi Fellow Texan! Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog! And as I am reading your post about the bake-off…I am filled with the urge to enter it! Mind you.. I have no cooking/baking ability whatsoever..I try..but that is the extent of it! LOL.. A girl can dream, right?? hee hee!
