What a week. Did you watch the Oscars? I did, but did not need a tissue on multiple occasions. Nope. Especially not when Anne Hathaway was fighting back tears, when Heath Ledger’s family accepted his award, or when Kate’s father whistled from the nose bleeds. |
More things I did not do this week:
I did not selfishly cry and pout over someone else’s good news.
I did not consider skipping the job fair after seeing hundreds of people lined up over 30 minutes before the doors even opened.
I did not go to lunch at On the Border with Helen instead. In our defense, we really did come back and attended afterward. We did!
I did drive out to Irving to find the location of my interview the day before. I did not get so frustrated that I left without finding the correct building. If I had done that, I am lucky that I found it with no problem the next morning.
I did not get up at 5:20 AM which put me there over an hour early.
I did not have a McDonald’s apple pie and soda for breakfast that morning either.
I did go to see Shopaholic at the early bird showing and paid only $5. Woo! I did not mentally note that I should make that a Friday tradition if I work hard in the job search during the week.
I did not skip my workout routine the entire week, and I did not blame it on the short week due to President’s day.
I did not see my reflection in a mirror at the mall, only to be horrified.
I did not stay up past midnight or even 3:00 AM most nights last week. Not Me!
What will I not do this week? Come back next Monday to find out.
