It’s my Blogoversary/Giveaway!

Well, I had intentions of having a big, exciting post to celebrate La Vie de Laurie’s Second Blogoversary, but I think my momentum kind of fizzled out. Instead of writing my post, I’ve been rushing around getting ready to join the fellow unemployed at a job fair. It’s not all bad though. I am going with a friend of a friend, so I won’t be alone and I am sure it will be a lot more fun (even if these kind of things aren’t suppose to be). |
While I am gone, feel free to poke around. If you’re new or have been lurking, check out my About Me section. Read about my 2008 Breast Cancer 3-Day journey, and if you’re inspired or so inclined please consider making a $10 donation to my 2009 Race for the Cure. There is no pressure, but I will really appreciate it.
No matter what, leave me a comment that will qualify you for my Blogoversary giveaway prize. I have a $20 gift card to Target, and a special surprise gift to go along with it for the lucky winner. You don’t have to follow me on Twitter, stumble this entry, or even write a post of your own. You can if you want, but I wanted to keep the rules simple this time around.
Just leave me a comment supporting my race, or wishing me a Happy Blogoversary. That’s it! I will close the comments on Sunday night and select a winner via Random.org to be announced next week.

WOW… never been the first to comment…. I also just read somewhere that its bad”karma”..to be the first… and especially if there is a giveaway as random chooses mid and high numbers I have been told. But, nonetheless my dear, let me be the very first to wish you a BLESSED and Happy BLOGOVERSARY!!!! I like your site… it is simple and easy to follow and will be following up with you. Would love it if you do the same… even though my blog is stilla work in progress and I am presently working on 4 other blogs that I am excited about. I would love any advice you have to give me!

I wish you the best in the race. I started running last year and ran in my first 5K. It was a huge boost for my confidence, and I think it will help you as you look for a new job. BTW, I’m a notive runner and ran it in 31 minutes. Best of luck to you.
