Big Sales Super Bowl Sunday

Are you one of those people that just doesn’t care about the SuperBowl? Would you rather be at a mall, gardening, exercising, or even working rather than being subjected to football? I can sympathize. Really I’m lucky that D doesn’t care about it either. We usually at least watch for the commercials, but I think we’ve given up entirely this year. If the halftime show consists of The Boss rather than Justin, well I’m not interested. |
So what’s a girl to do with all this free time? That’s easy… SHOP. You can find a lot of great deals today geared toward people who won’t be sitting around on the sofa all afternoon/evening. And even if you are, you can shop from the comfort of your home.
I placed an order at one of my favorite clothing stores, Old Navy, because with the promo code HALFOFF you get an extra 50% off any of their clearance items. That’s a heck of a deal, especially when a lot of things are already priced between $2.99 and $9.99. No, I’m not kidding. You can get a shirt for about $1.50. I shop on there a lot and stock up. You can get great deals at the end of season and then save the items for next year. GAP’s sale ended a few days ago, but they also had an extra percentage off of final sale items. I found a few great deals there too.
| In addition, my new account at work, SEPHORA, is also running a promotion for free shipping, and there is no minimum purchase. I hit up their sale section also and used the promo code PLAYPRETTY and got everything sent for free. Yay! I have a few friends who have birthdays coming up this month, so I was able to get great gifts. They offer free boxes and gift bags too. | ![]() |
I’m sure there are plenty more sales to find today, but my wallet is going to be benched for the rest of the day. Happy Shopping!

Is it just the clearance or the bargins too (for Old Navy)?
Posted by: StaceyAnything that has an ending price of .99 or .49 qualifies. I believe I had items from both clearance and bargains! I got several pairs of jeans for $6.49!
