‘Good Things’ for Valentine’s Day
By Laurie | January 26, 2009
Two things I love: flowers and Martha Stewart. Yes, she was a little shady and landed in jail, but I still admire her mad crafting skills.
When I got engaged, one of my bridesmaids gifted me a subscription to Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (Thanks, Megs!). That’s when I truly fell in love with her beautiful flower and bouquet designs. I only wish I was able to put arrangements like that together. My friend Nikki is getting married later this year, so we went to the Dallas Bridal Show this weekend. She is considering buying her own flowers for us to put together with another friend. It’s easy to get lots of great ideas just by browsing Martha’s collection online and in the magazine.

As you all know, I am a huge fan of tulips. I love the Martha Stewart Scarlet Red Tulip Bouquet. You can do so many “good things” with flowers, and these would look absolutely stunning in my all red kitchen. Isn’t the vase gorgeous too? I think tulips are so romantic and they really bring a room alive. I would definitely love this arrangement for Valentine’s Day, and it’s available from 1-800-FLOWERS (hint, hint). Even better, if you order any of the Martha Stewart arrangements, you get a year’s subscription to Living for free! That’s what I’m talking about. |
