I guess pigs do fly!

Have you ever heard that expression when you really expected something to never, ever, in a million years happen?

This morning Dave surprised me with new COACH jewelry (matching earrings and a bracelet), and I felt super spoiled. When I got to work, I had an e-mail from him with a picture of some flowers also wishing me a Happy Birthday. I didn’t think anything of it because he has done that in the past. He always gives me amazing, awesome, wonderful, thoughtful gifts. Always. Flowers are just not his thing.

Around 1:00 PM the receptionist comes walking up to my desk with the prettiest bouquet of pink roses and carnations. I honestly was surprised and wondered which of my friends had sent them. Imagine my shock and amazement to see the card signed by D! In all the years we dated and have been married…

I still can’t believe it. Don’t I have the best husband ever?

    I got the gold ball earring with the sparklies on it! Just like you said, I totally didn’t expect it (for Christmas).
