Ouch!

I knew this was going to be bad, but seriously. Who knew I’d ever be begging for liquid codeine over Bluebell Homemade Vanilla. Nothing is really helping the pain. I have been sleeping as much as possible. I cannot breathe through my nose to save my life. I have an awful ear ache. Should I even mention the dry throat and scabs? I didn’t think so.
I felt okay enough to take a bath last night, but I’m not sure when I’m going to feel like actually making it outside. I have the feeling I’m just going to sleep right through Christmas. I hate “wasting” vacation time on stuff like this. I can’t remember the last time I used my time for something fun.
Well, it’s time for another dose of medication. I’ll be back in a day or two with another update.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling so bad. My mom had hers out right before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and she was miserable as well. She said if she had to do it over again she just wouldn’t because the pain of recovery was worse than what she was going through in order to have them removed! They always make it look like its such an easy operation on TV – People just eat ice cream the whole time and are out and about in less than a week. Liars!
I hope you feel better soon. I hope at least by Christmas you’ll be able to enjoy yourself.
