I have a Secret!

I absolutely hate secrets when people are keeping them from me, don’t you? I have to admit it’s kind of fun to have some of my own! I won’t keep you completely in the dark though. Next Tuesday I am going to be hosting a really big giveaway. You’re going to want to come back and enter!

I can’t tell you what or who it is for, but I will be sending a reminder to all the members of my IZEA Insider Crew. Quite a few of us were selected to participate, so you’ll be able to enter multiple places. It is very big, and very exciting. If you want to get the reminder (and if you have a blog), let me know that you’d like to join my crew.

Also, I had so much fun shopping for my Secret Santa Soiree Partner on Georgie’s blog. I don’t think she’s ever visited my blog, so it’s still a secret. I’ve been leaving her anonymous messages, and I am enjoying getting to know her in secret. I still haven’t gotten my gift yet, but am really looking forward to it. I have no idea who it could be, but I do know that today is the last day to ship your gifts so it should be here soon. Can’t.Wait.

In the spirit of giving, I’m offering a prize pack of a few of my favorite things. I’m a fan of Oprah, and I love that she does that. I can’t afford to buy each of you a new car, but I can put together a pretty nice gift for one of you. I won’t tell you everything that is included (don’t you like surprises?), but here is a small sampling:

  3. One of my FAVORITE things is Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Because of it, I can go to work and when the day is done, my lipstick can fade, my foundation may have worn off and my face will be shiny but I’ve got some gorgeous eyeshadow on. It’s a miracle in a bottle. Seriously.

  6. I love Yankee Candles. I especially love the winter scents like Misteltoe and Balsam and Cedar. Having some candles lit, and having a cupt of tea, and having the cat nearby, ahhhh, that’s my favorite thing!

  26. Choosing one fave is always so hard, but if I had to choose one it would be my son’s baby photo album. It always brings a smile to my face whenever I thumb through it (it also makes me cry because I see how big he’s gotten), but they are happy tears and those are the best ones of all.

  136. I hope my favorite thing can be a person!

    My favorite is my mom. She passed away September 2008 after battling pancreatic cancer for only 4 months. The poor thing retired in April got since in June and was gone in September.

    She was my best friend and I miss her deeply.

    After she left, I learned that she was literally stood up at the alter by my birth father BUT she wouldn’t give me up! She met a wonderful man, who took us as a package deal. This was back in the early 1960′s, so it was very hush hush. Here I am 46 years old and I don’t know who my birth father is because she was too ashamed to tell me after my “dad” passed away.

    She was and is still the best mom in the world!

  154. One thing you can’t buy in the stores is Fish mainly bream about the size of your hand. I mostly love all sea food but I am a sucker for bream. I am not able to get out and go fishing so was suprised yesterday when my grandson came over with freshly caught, cleaned and read to cook BREAM. I put four bags in the freeze and cooked some. I told him “Don’t get me anything for Christmas, there is really nothing I need.” Just keep me in bream and you will have given me the best present you could give me.” I just love it when someone thinks enough of me to do something I cannot do for myself but brings me so much pleasure. It’s the little things that no one would have thought of that makes me so happy. I would love to be suprised by you. Thank you and Merry Christmas and a Blessed, Prosperous New Year.

  198. This is going to sound silly, but one of my very favorite things is the new Tide Total Care clothes detergent. We always bought regular Tide, and I never wanted to change because my kids have ecsema… hence, breakouts if new detergent. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of the new Tide. As soon as I discovered my obsession, I washed everything in it… even items that probably could be used a bit more, like our comforters. BUT I love it, yum.
