The Twilight Trailer
By Laurie | October 9, 2008
OMFG. Can’t wait.
This is supposed to be a new trailer that just came out today, but other than the kiss and adding the new release date is it really any different? Maybe I’ve just watched too much stuff about it online and already saw some of the extra scenes they added. I haven’t seen this trailer in a theater yet. I wonder how under the radar this movie is for people that are not familiar with the books.

Posted by: LaurieOMG. I’m literally dying for this movie to come out. I will force my boyfriend to go with me opening day. It does seem really under the radar though. I haven’t seen the trailer attached to any movies or on TV at all, and I’ve seen lots of movies that are coming out in November or later previewed. It must have been — maybe I’m just going to see the wrong movies.
Posted by: BlairI had heard about the books vaguely before I began hearing about the movie. But I only just read “Twilight” because I’d like to see the movie. In fact, I finished the book YESTERDAY and loved it. LOVED IT.
I can even get past the fact that they have “Cedric Diggory” playing “Edward” … I have to admit – after watching the trailers I think he’s pretty hot. Didn’t think so while he was in the Harry Potter movies.
Will they be making the other books into movies? Does the movie contain “spoilers” for the other books? I haven’t read the rest yet – but I’ve been avoiding the trailers because I still want to read the books.

Posted by: ChristineDon’t worry, Christine. The trailer doesn’t ruin the other books at all as long as you have read the first one.
I loved Twilight too, and then liked each book a little less as they went along. I am a little worried about the movie being “bad,” but I’m still going to see it. I hate having an idea of what the characters look like in my head and having it ruined by the actors they choose. The Edward of my imagination doesn’t look like Robert Pattison, but I’m sure he’ll grow on me. The actress that is playing Bella looks nothing like I imagined her either.
I do not believe Stephenie Myer has sold the rights to the other books yet, but I read the actors are signed for two more movies in case they are able to do a sequel. I imagine the movie will be very popular given the popularity of the books. I will see them all no matter how good or bad the first one is, and I imagine most other fans will too!
Happy reading!
