Gold Breitling Watches

By Laurie | October 6, 2008

It’s about time for me to get a new watch. I have had my third lovely COACH time piece for a few years now, but the face is getting pretty scratched up. I think I’m ready for a new style too.

I have been looking around online and saw some nice Breitling watches that I have been admiring. I am not big fan of gold breitling unless it is white gold or stainless steel.

My personal favorite is this gorgeous stainless steel piece with a blue mother of pearl dial. I like my watches a little chunky, and I think the blue dial with complement my wardrobe nicely.

This one (see right) is from The Watchery (they have a huge selection). Do you like it? What’s your favorite style and brand of watch? What kind of things do you look for? What’s the most you’d pay for a nice one?

The holidays are coming up and I know many people who are looking for classic yet functional watches. I like to get D watches at special occasions too. I got his two most recent watches engraved to make them even more special. Here’s a tip: I think that is an awesome idea to make the gift more personal by adding a special phrase, nickname etc. to the back.

  3. Laurie,

I love your taste in watches. This is a nice choice. It is good looking and can be worn to a dress up occasion or casual. This will be a perfect accessory to take on your European vacation. Not only that, it will last a lifetime.

Breitling makes hardy watches. It will hold up well, no matter what you are doing.

I have a Breitling Aviastar. I have had it for almost 10 years. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I collect watches and I love to see watches with personal inscriptions. It warms my heart and I don’t know the people who were involved so I can only imagine how wonderful it was to receive the gift. Good luck with your watch hunt.
