Getting Married? Think Pink!

By Laurie | October 5, 2008

This has been an exciting weekend. Nikki had a beautiful engagement party last night, and her best friends all came in from out of town to help her celebrate until the wee hours of the morning. We didn’t get home until after 3:00 AM, and I was up again by 11:00 AM to head out to meet them for lunch.

After that we went over to Alfred Angelo where Nikki tried on a dress she had fallen in love with in a magazine. This was the first dress she had tried on since getting engaged earlier this summer. She look stunning and has all but decided it is “the one.”

Myself and two of her other bridesmaids also tried on dresses and helped narrow down some color options. Right now Alfred Angelo has a great promotion in honor of breast cancer awareness month. If you buy your dress in October, you will get $100 off. Part of that is donated to the Feel Your Boobies Foundation.

They are also doing a fun Girls Night Out on October 15 for brides and their bridal parties. If you’re getting married, you might want to check them out. You can save on your dress, in addition to having fun with your friends, while doing something good in the fight against Breast Cancer. We just might check it out and I’ll let you know how it goes.
