3-Day Supporter Info

I am super excited to announce the DFW Supporter Info for the 2008 3-Day! With only 10 weeks until the event (I can’t believe it’s almost here), Nikki and I have really stepped up our training. We’ve attended the EXPO, bought our second pair of walking shoes, and have several great fundraising events planned for the next few weeks. We are going to be BUSY BUSY BUSY the next few months, and November 7-9 is going to be here before we (or you) know it.

I would love it if all my friends and family came out to support me for this event. It means a lot to me, and I have been working hard all year to fundraise and get ready. You can attend opening and closing ceremonies, and there are also cheering stations along the route in which you can see us, hold up signs, and give us the motivation to keep on walking. I will let you know about two weeks prior to the event where those cheering stations are in case anyone is interested in dropping by. Dave, Brownie, and my parents have already said they would like to come down. I know Nikki’s kiddos and fiance are going to be there too.

You can also write me a letter of encouragement and support to the 3-Day camp post office. Did you know that I’m going to be sleeping in a tent? On the ground? Without a hair dryer? I would love to get a letter from ya’ll! You can start sending them now, and they will be delivered to me at the event.
