Austin or Bust

| On Friday I’ll be off to Austin to enjoy a long weekend with my college suitemate, Katrina. I am excited to get out of town for a few days. This is a long time coming– I think I’ve been trying to plan a trip since April. Gas prices certainly don’t help. I just filled up today for over $50. Ugh. I’ve been in a rut the past month or so, and today was just the straw the broke the camel’s back. I will be counting the hours. A nice long drive is kind of relaxing and theraputic in a way. I am sure that I will make some stops and take some pictures too. This is one of my favorite drives, and I’m glad to have something to look forward to for the rest of the week. |  |

How much per gallon is gas for the cheap one (87)? It’s $4.53 here.
Posted by: StaceyStacey, you definitely win. I go to the cheapest place around and it’s only $3.87. I’ve seen it as high as $4.09.
