Is Chick-Fil-A Serious?!

By Laurie | July 10, 2008

Now I love Chick-Fil-A’s delicious chicken sandwiches and biscuits more than anyone. After all, it really is the only thing I’ll eat from a drive-thru for breakfast. But would I dress like a cow (litterally, you know… MOO!) for a free combo meal? Come on now– are they serious?! Apparently they are.

I got an e-mail today explaining that tomorrow is Cow Appreciation Day. If you like public humiliation (or have a cow fetish) and you dress as a cow from head to toe, you’ll get your entire meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) complements of your local store. If you only partially go through with it, you’ll get your entree (minus side and drink) for free.

The site does give some pretty interesting ideas and help (plus print outs) if you’d really follow through with the idea for a free meal. Me? It’s not going to happen. I’d rather pay $5 for my combo than parade around in public with paper spots pinned all over me and a paper mask or ears. Hmm… I wonder if this works for drive-thru folks too? Yeah… it’s still a no.
