I feel like Chicken Tonight

| I have really been craving Babe’s Chicken Dinner House all day. We got a Frisco magazine in the mail yesterday and to my surprise it said a new location was open in Frisco. My family has been going to the original in Roanoke for as long as I can remember, so it’s kind of like a childhood memory for me. I never get the chicken though, always the chicken fried steak. Oh, and I don’t even like that from anywhere else. This stuff is no joke. I also love their potatoes and corn. My mouth is watering over here.
All day I think that D and I are going to head over for dinner, and we found out it doesn’t open until July 14 (though other places on the Internet say the 13th, and others say the 15th). I guess I’ll have to wait to get my fix. Someone on a message board said, “There does seem to be something in the water for some people when they talk about this place…almost like ex-Californians talking about In-n-Out.” That cracked me up because it is so true, and I fall into both categories! |
