Self Portrait Sunday - 5/4/08

| Yesterday I spent the majority of the afternoon working on the lawn. I planted some new flowers, moved a couple of plants, trimmed bushes and trees, and even mowed the lawn! We hired a service to come out for the past month, but now that our mower is finally up and running it’ll be on me. I am also paying them for weed control, so I am miffed that there are still weeds growning. C’est la vie. This week we visted Lowe’s and bought several “Plant for the Cure” kits. Part of the sale goes to Susan G. Komen. They would make great Mother’s Day gifts– I bought my mommy one too. Also, if you’d like to donate to my Breast Cancer 3-Day, my page is here. Cass hasn’t put up this week’s post yet, so I’m visiting last week’s players. I’ll be back later today to add the link. Nikki and I are going to be doing a 3-Day training walk, so I’ll be gone for several hours. Happy Sunday, everyone!
