April 22 is Earth Day! I remember celebrating as a kid in elementary school, but there are ways that we can help save the earth now as adults everyday– not just today. Did you know that Earth Day was established in 1970?! I thought the first time was back when I was little, but I bet I am remembering the big campaign in 1990. You can read more about the history on the offical Earth Day site.
Below are some pet-friendly tips for being green. |

growth hormones or antibiotics, and that doesn’t contain any animal by
products, rendered meat or chicken meals.2. Use all natural cleaning products free of toxic chemicals.
3. Choose eco-friendly pet grooming products made without phosphates,
sulfates and other harmful chemicals.4. Pick eco-friendly pet toys made from organic or recycled materials.
5. Purchase alternative forms of kitty litter made from recycled
material such as newsprint and use biodegradable poopbags for your daily walks.
