Tackle it Tuesday #3

Toward the end of May we will celebrate six months in our new house. I’m sure it’s not a shock that we [read: I] still have a lot to do. I used to collect DVDs, and actually built up a pretty big collection. David’s collection grew to be even bigger than mine. Eventually I slowed down on buying them after I noticed that I wasn’t watching them anymore. I even have quite a few that are still sealed.
My DVDs were my focus for Tackle it Tuesday this week. They were all still packed away in boxes, and my DVD racks were sitting in the bedroom empty. Even though David and I have been married almost four years (in September), we still haven’t married our movie collections. I think he refuses to adopt my “chick flicks” which is fine by me.

I have two racks like this that I paid $75 each for a Pier One. I actually have more DVDs than will fit on them now, so my TV shows are being stored in the entertainment center for now. I’m thinking that I should buy a different shelf or something to hold them because they tend to fill up quickly.
Usually I alphabetize them too, and I will get to that tomorrow. The biggest tackle was getting them out of the box. OH, and LeAnn– I finally found your Grey’s Anatomy Season 1! Happy Birthday to you… just kidding!
Bonus Trivia:
My first DVD was Toy Story purchased as a birthday gift from my parents.
My newest DVD was Enchanted from David in my Easter Basket.

Very nice! We moved into our house about 6 months ago and still have a few lingering boxes in the basement too. I’m feeling inspired now, thanks to you, I think I might go tackle those!
