Tackle it Tuesday #2

This weekend I had a lot to tackle. I was going to mow our lawn for the first time this Spring, but sadly the brand new electric mower my parents bought us for Christmas didn’t want to start. That stinks because now I’m wondering if it’s under warranty. They don’t have the box or receipt anymore, so I think I’m up sh!t creek. I was really annoyed because I spent time clearing a path to get it out of the garage and wheeled it out to the backyard, plugged it in, and nothing. *sigh* Needless to say, my attempt to tackle the lawn for the second week in a row was a bust.
After cleaning up and putting the mower away, I tackled some peanut butter cookies for my dad and dave instead. Here are the yummy results:
I indulged in one– cookies fresh out of the oven are always so good, and I couldn’t help it even though I’m not a big peanut butter fan. These cookies are my specialty though, and my daddy’s favorite. I also made four dozen homemade sugar cookies with pink strawberry cream cheese icing to sell for my 3-Day walk. Baking always makes me feel accomplished, and I also am forced to clean the kitchen afterward. It’s a win-win.
