Self Portrait Sunday - 3/09/08
By Laurie | March 9, 2008
| I’m cheating a little bit since I took this picture last Sunday. I didn’t get around to posting it– opps! I’m wearing cupcake face mask from LUSH. It’s the bomb. I am however wearing Love Lettuce face mask as I type this, so the only difference is that my face is green right now instead of brown. It’s good stuff, so I suggest you run out and buy some. It looks like it is not available online anymore so you have to be lucky enough to have a local LUSH store. It is fabulous for pulling all the oil off your face and moisturizing. See, you get a photo and a beauty tip for visiting me! Now it’s time for me to see what the other Self-Portrait Sunday participants have been up to! | ![]() ![]() |

Great mask! I’ve looked at Lush products from afar, but never actually bought anything. Usually I see Lush stores in airports. Maybe next time I see a store I will buy something.

Posted by: Tina Kubala on March 9th, 2008 at 10:24 pmHee! I did a mud mask self portrait for SPS a while back. Um, I didn’t look that good in mine!
Posted by: skeet on March 9th, 2008 at 10:47 pmAlli- You should definitely try them out. I first saw a Lush in the Orlando airport, and that was before I even knew what it was. The obsession grew from there!
Tina- YES… like a CUPCAKE. It smells like you are spreading chocolate on your face. It’s amazing!
Skeet- I don’t think I remember your mask. I took a pretty long break from SPS though. Then again, maybe your post was in my subconscious! Happy Sunday!
Posted by: Laurie on March 9th, 2008 at 11:58 pmi need to get to the lush store soon. i’m all out of soaps and bath bombs.
Posted by: corrin on March 10th, 2008 at 9:10 amI have never done the mud mask thing. I used to use a peel-off back in the day, though.
Posted by: Cass on March 10th, 2008 at 10:25 amCorrin- Maybe the LUSH-Fairy will visit you for your birthday. Don’t do any self-gifting until after next week!
Cass- I remember the peel-off kind too! I have to say that these are much easier to wash off. I would always find pieces of the peeled kind hours later still on my face!
