Breast Cancer 3-Day

I have really been thinking about participating in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day this year. Since meeting David, I have always wanted to do it to honor his mom who lost her battle over 10 years ago. I am so sad that I did not have a chance to meet her. I love to hear him tell stories about her. I think about it every year, but just haven’t taken the plunge. My biggest fear is not being about to raise the $2200 required to participate. I would feel awful if I failed. |
My co-workers and I were talking about doing it, and several of my friends have shown interest too. I think it would be an awesome bonding experience, and I think that I would really enjoy it. Has anyone participated? Do you have any suggestions for fundraising? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I will probably be talking a lot about this over the next month as I decide what I am going to do. The walk in Dallas is November 7-9.
