Getting Healthy

Nikki and I have been going to the gym pretty religiously for a month now. I am trying to get into a more healthy lifestyle since my body is completely out of whack. I’ve been depressed lately, which probably accounts for the fact that I’ve been online less and haven’t been posting much. I’ve been thinking a lot about my PCOS, and the possibilities of children in our future someday. |
My thyroid issues are the same. I changed from Synthroid to Armor, but it’s only been a week and I can’t really tell a difference. I had a spell of falling asleep while driving a few months back, but I have gotten past that now. I just want to be normal. Sometimes I wonder… will I ever be?
I’ve enjoyed working out with a personal trainer the past few weeks. I think the sessions are really helpful, and I am glad I have a partner to keep me motivated. It’s also nice to be doing it with someone who has similar medical issues. We have fun together, and even spend extra time at the pool and in the spa which has been a nice and relaxing end to our workouts. We’ve also been going to Planet Tan a few times a week. Don’t worry, I’m still white as white can be. I’m doomed to live a pale life. It’s okay… really.
I was just reading about Six Gym Health Hazards, and I discovered I am a violator of quite a few. Luckily I have an excellent immune system and hardly ever get sick. I feel SO much better though. The scale hasn’t really moved much truth be told, but I know it’s going to be much harder for me/us. As long as I eventually get there it’s all good. And yes, I’m aware I’ve said this all before. Somehow it seems different this time though.
