Heath Ledger, Dead at 28

| I was really sad when I heard Heath Ledger was found dead in his NY apartment on Tuesday. The headline Heath Ledger dead at 28 completely shocked me and I almost didn’t believe it was real. In 1997 my favorite show on television was Roar. As with most shows I grew attached to, it disappeared after only one season. I thought Heath was awesome in it, and it only helped my love of Austrailian accents grow stronger. I was happy to see him show again in 10 Things I Hate About You which I also loved since I am a huge Shakespeare fan.
In the past couple of days I’ve read dozens of articles about Heath Ledger and his sad and untimely death. I was surprised that I have seen almost every single one of his movies. Dave and I have really been looking forward to the new Dark Knight (Batman) movie. I have to admit that I wasn’t so positive about seeing Heath in the role of the Joker. From the preview his performace looks completely over the top. Still, now that he is gone I think it will bring in an even bigger audience.My thoughts are with his family. So sad. |

i heard playing the joker really messed with his mind, and that was the reason he was originally on sleep medication. it just might be too spooky for me to see when it is released.
