I’m Spoiled!

My birthday was awesome. David woke me up and had Brownie sing “happy birthday” while I opened my card and a big giftset from the Body Shop (in my favorite scent: Satsuma, of course!)
My co-workers had decorated my desk with streamers, confetti and balloons which was really cool. I got a really sweet card with a Barnes & Noble giftcard and a cute butterfly bookmark. I love it. They also got me a Hello Kitty cake (SO cute) and we had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. My boss Angela ordered me a pair of Alice Crocs which I am super excited about. I still never bought a pair. I think these are much cuter than the traditional style, so if I’m gonna take the plunge… I think this was the perfect pair. Also they are black, so they’ll go with everything and not look tacky.
Nikki sent me flowers and a balloon that arrived pretty early in the morning so I got to enjoy them almost all day at the office. The lillies are just now starting to bloom and the arrangement is just beautiful. I love the pink Gerbera daisies too. They were such a sweet surprise.
When work was over, I went over to David’s office and he took me to NorthPark and gave me my Tiffany bracelet! Yay! I have wanted this one for years, so I was really excited. He also got it engraved with my initials. We went to dinner and had desert at Maggiano’s. Everything was yummy.
After that we went home because he had to be at the airport early the next morning for his business flight to San Antionio. I’ve been keeping occupied at the gym and with work the past few days, but I sure do miss him. I am picking him up tomorrow after I get off, and am looking forward to my birthday dinner at Buca with my friends and family on Saturday night.
