One More Week…

It’s been a busy weekend. We moved both days, and haven’t had much time to relax. The movers come next Sunday, and we are having a garage sale on Saturday. I’ve been busy collecting stuff for that. Dave has his closet filled with stuff for it too, and mine is pretty much in small stacks all around the apartment. Hopefully we can make a little money off some of this stuff.
We bought curtains and rods for two rooms in the house. That was over $100. We still have to buy quite a few more sets. I can see that owning and decorating a home is expensive. It’s like we are starting all over again. I can’t believe we’ll really be living there next weekend.
We also took Brownie with us today, and we got to watch him play in the yard for the first time. It is such a joy, and I am so happy that he now has a place to go and explore. It made me sad because Peanut was not there with us. Hopefully he’s looking down at us from the Rainbow Bridge and smiling.
