Lottery Tickets

By Laurie | September 4, 2007

I’ve been a Lottery fiend lately. Of course I haven’t won a thing. My co-workers and I formed a Lottery Pool, and we haven’t won jack from that either. We’ve been playing for about 6 weeks. No, sadly ours was not the winning $330 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Texas. There was a winner in Houston. Three other people from different states won as well.

October is always an exciting month because the State Fair of Texas begins! This year it is September 28 through October 21. It has been a family tradition to participate and attend the Paul Adams Game Show at the fair. I have been on several times, as has my dad. Dave is still waiting for his turn. I am loving that they came out with a special State Fair Lottery ticket this year too. They have a booth outside of the game, and you know this is going to be a popular one. A new Vegas game just came out today too, but we won’t talk about that.

  1. I live in Houston!!

Sadly, I didn’t play and we all know that if “You don’t play, you can’t win”

    Damn it!

  2. Thanks for stopping by Diana! We visited the Woodlands a few months back.
Of course, they can’t have a slogan that says, “If you play, you won’t win.”
We all know that is closer to the truth though!
