Self Portrait Sunday - 8/26/07

This is me after sitting in front of my computer half the day, also windblown and make-up running from walking the dog.

Funny story: Dave just took Brownie out again. It’s a “rule” that you pick up after your dog, and we usually do. He leaves little tiny “Tootsie Rolls” anyway, as you’ve heard me talk about before… and normally he does them in the house while we are at work. He’s sweet that way. Well, when Dave goes outside, he finds a black baggie tied around our door filled with doggie doodie. Nice. How can they just assume it’s ours? Our apartment is on the way to the dog park. Everyone walks by and lets their pet go on our grass without picking it up. I can’t wait to get out of here.

  3. Oh people are so rude! Who really wants to go around tying dog doo to doors? How do they know it belongs to you? Is there a neighborhood poop watch?

  6. I cannot believe someone did that. How rude. Did you know there are biodegradable dog poo pickup bags now? I read about it on an environmental blog (http://conserveplasticbags.blogspot.com/). She talked about composting poo, too. When y’all get in your new home, you could do this.

    Dave says he plans on calling the office to report the poop issue and find out if it is something that they are doing to owners who live in the area that is not being cleaned up.
