Milestone 8

I love getting these milestone updates in my inbox. Last week after we left the house, I started to get really excited. Could it really be almost done? They had already installed the ceramic tile, so I imagine when they say “flooring” they mean carpet. Landscaping isn’t on the list, and I know for a fact that is also left to do.
What I *am* dreading is all the packing and moving of our stuff. I think we are going to hire a mover to get the big items– furniture, washer and dryer etc. Kiss my vacation goodbye. I am looking forward to all the shopping that we will have to do. A new fridge, TV and kitchen/dining room tables are first on our list. IKEA is going to be my bestest friend in a few short weeks. |
